Bango (LON:BGO) appointed Matt Garner as its new chief financial officer after Carolyn Rand announced her intention to step down after almost two and half years in the role.
Rand will remain with Bango over the coming year as a consultant during the handover to Garner, the payments specialist added.
Garner is joining Bango from the satellite tech group Global Invacom, where he was Chief Financial Officer for seven years during which time it listed on AIM and maintained a mainboard listing in Singapore.
Five companies were also acquired and integrated during his time at Global Invacom.
Paul Larbey, Bango’s chief executive, said: “Matt brings a wealth of international experience managing hi-tech businesses, which will help shape the next phase of Bango’s growth.
Garner added: “The Bango virtuous circle strategy, where payment volumes drive payment insights – and vice versa – is compelling and the Bango vision of becoming the technology behind every payment choice is irresistible.”
