The symbol used in the logo and branding is a geometrical design inspired by an octagonal star represented as two overlapping squares, merged with a flower blooming. The symbol stretches back in the history of Moroccan architecture and possesses connotations of fullness and regeneration.

The updated website also includes the new company values which reflect its mission statement of “Doing the right things and doing them in the right way”. The updated website with the new branding can be viewed via the following link: www.emmersonplc.com.

In a statement, Graham Clarke, CEO of Emmerson, commented: “Emmerson has developed a strong Moroccan identity, with several of our senior management being Moroccan nationals. I believe this has helped the evolution of the Company and kept it aligned with all of our core Moroccan stakeholders.

“Morocco is a stable and supportive jurisdiction for the development of mineral resources, and we remain committed to investing in the country in the coming years as we develop Khemisset towards production.  Our strong affiliations within Morocco, both on a regional and national scale, have been critical to building a sustainable project with significant longevity creating a long-term revenue generator and employer for the local region.

“It is with this in mind that I am delighted that our visual and corporate identity has been enhanced to reflect these deep roots within our country of operation.”
